Here’s just a bit about my life if you are interested…

My Family…

I am a stay at home mama to two awesome kiddos.

           

Kenzie (age 3) and Kynaston (9 months.) They are the joy of my life and keep my days exciting and filled with all kinds of crazy drama, from wanting cookies for breakfast to fighting over toys. I cannot imagine life without them.

And this is Checkers. We’ve been married for 4 1/2 yrs. He is my biggest supporter, in fact he’s pretty much the reason this blog still exists. In Sept 2014 we did a DTS and I started this blog to keep friends and family updated on our life. After DTS Checkers encouraged me to keep blogging and… well, here we are. 🙂

My Passion…

My heart behind this blog is for people to find freedom in Christ. To be set free from bondage, from the enemy’s strongholds, from oppression and depression. It isn’t God’s desire for people to bound by the enemy’s tricks. We’ve been set free by the blood of Jesus Christ, and I long to see people live in that freedom.

I also long to see the church and each individual person in it become alive! I long to see people become passionate about seeing God’s kingdom fulfilled. I want to see ‘on fire’ christians. I long to see people put as much energy into their christian life as they do in their financial life. The current cultural theme is: Let’s dream big and meet our goals! We are bent on making our lives about ourselves. If we invested that energy into making other people happy instead of ourselves, we could change the world!! (or at least our small corner of it.)

Well, there’s just a bit about me. I pray that God would bless you and take you on a journey of finding a deeper intimacy with him, and also a complete freedom that can only be found in him.
